Mohammed wins European Endurance Race 2012

Sheikh Mohammed receives the endurance cup

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was crowned winner of the Europe's Endurance Race 2012 , which was held at Anakuna, Italy.

Sheikh Mohammed led the UAE riders to the finish line of the 160km long race at 8.51.10. He was followed home by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum who took second place, with Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum finishing third.

Coming home first on “ Maji de bont”, Sheikh Mohammed's win qualifies him to lead the UAE riders to take part in the World Endurance Cup, due to be held in UK next August.

The race, which was supervised by the World Equestrian Federation and organized by the Italian Equestrian Federaion, included five stages.
