Mohammed welcomes Dubai World Cup guests

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum attend this evening the reception and banquet, hosted by Meydan, on the occasion of Dubai World Cup.

The recieption and banquet were attended by Director of Dubai Ruler's Office Lt. General Musabbah Rashid Al Fattan, Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office Ahmed Abdullah Al Sheikh, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and number of senior officials.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed state’s guests, horse owners, trainers and jockys who came from all over the world to participate in this international event. His highness confirmed that the participating guests are most welcomed by the UAE societies and government officials as this Dubai World Cup is most prominent and richest horserace in the world.

Sheikh Mohammed wished the entire guest pleasant stay during their visit and safe return. His highness invited the guests to learn about our culture and lifestyle to carry happy memories about the United Arab Emirates, emirates and Arabic and Islamic culture.

The event took place at the Jumairah Beach, Dubai and included parachute jumping and fireworks which glittered the atmosphere and excited the guests.
