Mohammed endorses three new projects in Dubai
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum endorsed three new development projects in Dubai. The new projects reflect His Highness keenness to provide the development requirements of the Emirate.
The projects were revealed during a press conference by Engineer Hussain Nassir Lootah, Director General of Dubai Municipality and attended by a number of senior officials.
Lootah said that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, approved the three projects which reflects his keenness to meet the development needs of the Emirate and service the society in accordance to the goals and visions of Dubai Government Strategy. The new projects according to Lootah will be developed according to the best international standards.
Lootah said that the first project is Dubai Safari Project that will include Dubai Safari, Butterfly Park, golf courses, entertainment and recreational areas. The project will be located in Al Warqa area.
The second concerns the Completion of Business Bay Canal and its Connection to the Sea which aims at reviving Business Bay Canal as a part of an integrated marine system which will improve the environmental state of the canal, as well as the upper part of the creek.
The third project, Dhow Wharfage Development at Deira Corniche, will aim at constructing an additional integrated infrastructure to facilitate an increase in dhow trade through Dubai, which will make Dubai the economical center of import and export activities in the region.Sunday, May 13, 2012
