Mohammed attends JCSC graduation ceremony
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended today the graduation ceremony of the 21st batch of Command and Staff Officers at the Joint Command and Staff College in Abu Dhabi.
In his inaugural speech, Staff Major General Pilot Rashid Salem Al Saadi, Commander of the Staff College, welcomed Sheikh Mohammed who patronizes the event, thanking him for his attendance and stressing that the graduating officers and the Armed Forces derive their inspiration to pursue further studies and acquire higher education from the support of the UAE's supreme leadership, headed by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Upon pledging allegiance to the nation and its prudent leadership, Major General Al Saadi affirmed that the protection of the country and its national treasures remain as top priority of UAE Armed Forces, highlighting the college keenness to develop quality military education and graduate well-equipped officers qualified to assume leadership positions in the future.
Following the speech, Sheikh Mohammed alongside the College's Commander distributed awards and certificates to the graduates, congratulating them on their success and their pursuit of excellence in serving the armed forces.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Sheikh Suroor bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of the National Consultative Council (NCC) Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Masoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defence St. Lt. General Obaid Al Ka'abi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces St. Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Director of Dubai Ruler's Office Lt. General Musabbah Rashid Al Fattan, a number of UAE senior military and civilian officials, members of diplomatic corps as well as a large gathering of the graduates' families.
