UAE delegation returns
Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and UAE Defence Minister, and other members of the UAE's delegation to the 24th annual summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council arrived back in the UAE. They were greeted at Dubai International Airport by Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance and Industry, and a number of other sheikhs and senior officials.
On behalf of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Maktoum welcomed the GCC leaders to the UAE for their next summit in his address at the final session in Kuwait.
According to a communique issued at the end of the summit, the GCC countries will support international measures to fight terrorism.
