Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment runs 24 Ramadan projects
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Establishment is currently running 24 charity projects at a total cost of AED 25.6 million for Ramadan in and outside the UAE in support of needy Muslims, chairman of the board of trustees of the Establishment Ibrahim Bu Melha said.
For the fifth year in a row, smart cards will be used to distribute Ramadan food ration to beneficiaries in the UAE, Bu Melha stated at a joint press breifing with representatives of the Establishment's partners.
In the UAE, he added, a total of 3250 eligible families will receive more than AED 2 million in Ramadan aid this year from the Establishment, "The Establishment's annual Ramadan tradition are in line with directives from Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum." "The Establishment's policy is based on the UAE's strategy for promoting comprehensive social solidarity as it spares no effort to serve all those who live in the UAE during the holy month of Ramadan," he further said.
