This award is part of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme, which was established to improve the performance of Dubai's government sector.
The Dubai Government Excellence Programme Award recognises and rewards exceptional government employees, departments and initiatives.

Eligibility
Government departments nominate a division, team, initiative, project or employee for each category of the award. No individual or entity can be nominated two years in a row.

Prizes
Award-winning departments or initiatives receive a trophy and a certificate of appreciation, while exceptional individuals are eligible for cash prizes and promotions.
